Another wonderful Thanksgiving because of the wonderful food! This year we picked up oysters and enjoyed a wonderful delicious pre-Thanksgiving meal of oysters and some wonderful lobster bisque. It was relaxing and nice to not to have to cook the day before knowing that Thanksgiving was going to be a big fancy meal. I also had three. 2,pound lobsters that I cooked exactly the way Mike told me. I chilled them and then made lobster salad. Thanksgiving was so good with lobster salad and all the sides that you would normally have a Thanksgiving. I know that the traditional dinner is the Thanksgiving's turkey but really who wants to have turkey if you could have lobster? thank you so much, Mike. Looking forward to Christmas coming back to get more seafood. There is no better Seafood place than Archar Seafood and Mike is the nicest and the most cordial and helpful person on the planet!
Michael is the best ! Such a great personality this guy has . It all started with a simple conversation over the phone . He picked saying Dave ( called from my husband's phone ) what can I do for u buddy but then realized it was a female on the phone . It was so funny from there. I arrived and said I'm Dave and we just rolled with it . He's awesome. We picked up 2 dozen medium crabs and they for sure not disappoint. He made fine selection and we even tried some before we left to Make sure we were good with them . I called that A+ customer service . Now we all know crabs aren't in season all year but they have plenty of other options from different fishes , oysters , clams ,mussels and shrimps . So if you are looking for some fresh seafood come see Michael and he will take care of you . Thanks Mike for a great experience I will be back !
Drove from Hackensack(Hacketsville) and was not disappointed. Crabs were meaty and fresh. Michael was great. Will def be back!
This was my first visit to this seafood market and it was well worth it, I called to check to see what size the crabs were and the cost. The gentleman that I spoke with was very helpful and provided the answer to my questions. I arrived shortly after they opened and I was very impressed with the vibe and the fact it didn't smell like a fish market which means that the seafood is fresh. I purchased a couple dozen crabs at a fair price and they were wonderful and heavy just like the fish monger mentioned. I will return and certainly recommend this market to my friends and family.
Mike is a gem and like gems you want to keep them all to yourself, but I would be doing the world a dis-serve if I kept him all to myself. The fish is always fresh, the store clean and the people greet you with a hello and a smile. I travel a distance to get to this location, but the seafood and the kindness has me driving there with a smile. Thank you Mike for just being a wonderful person.
